The Grain Farmers of Ontario are stepping up to help educate the farmers of tomorrow.
The organization representing 28,000 barley, corn, soybean, and wheat farmers, is congratulating the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus on receiving 6.5 million to build a new Field Crop Services Building from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture.
The Grain farmers put over half a million a year into projects at Ridgetown and also use their influence within the ministry for additional funding.
Construction is underway at the new Field Crop Services Building with an expected completion targeted for spring 2022.
