The Funeral for Fallen OPP Constable Greg Pierzchala is this morning at 11 am in Barrie. Although the funeral is a private one being held at Sadlon area it will be live streamed via the OPP social media platforms.
Perth County OPP Constable Jill Johnston says that they hope change comes from the senseless death of one of their own.
“I hope we do see some changes coming up with things like our justice system. It is extremely frustrating when you hear the circumstances with the suspect having a weapons prohibition.”
The OPP has made an online book of condolences available for those that would like to send in their respects.
