Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced $75,000 in funding is being provided as part of a $7 million investment to help seniors stay fit, active, healthy and socially connected.
The Seniors Community Grant Program allows recipients to receive up to $25,000 to support local programs, services and events to provide seniors with opportunities for greater social inclusion, volunteerism and community engagement.
In a release, Rae says the government continues to support important senior programs ensuring our seniors can enjoy their golden years while staying active and healthy.
Wellington North, Mapleton and the Stratford Tourism Alliance is receiving $25,000 each in funding.
