Four more residents have passed away from COVID-19 at Carresant Care in Listowel.
This brings total deaths in the home to 10. One was confirmed to pass away on Saturday with the other 3 on Monday. Two separate outbreaks had occurred just over 2 two weeks ago. Nearly two dozen residents have been moved to local hospitals, 19 from long-term care and 3 from the retirement home side.
There are 30 active cases within Caressant Care Listowels nursing home side with 16 residents and 14 staff with 12 active on the retirement home, 10 residents and 2 staff.
