Perth County is in mourning, remembering past County council member and past Warden Jim Aitcheson.
Jim spent 13 years on Perth County council and served as Warden for three years from 2019-2022 who led the County over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic who was a tireless advocate for rural life and participated on many Committees of Council.
Perth County Warden Rhonda Ehgoetz says she’s had the pleasure of working with Jim adding it’s been an honour to work alongside him and his voice and presence will be greatly missed around the council table.
The flags at the County Courthouse will fly at half mast until his funeral.
