Former Warden and Perth County councilor Barb MacLean has passed away.
Barb began her career in politics in 1992 with Hibbert Township who remained in her role through amalgamation to what is now known as the Hibbert Ward of West Perth.
Barb served as Warden of Perth County from December 2005-December 2006 and served on council until 2016.
Warden Rhonda Ehgoetz in a statement says her history of community service extended beyond her political career, being a member of the Women’s Institute, served on the board of the Mitchell and District Community Centre and former Director with the Perth Farm Safety Association.
