Ford Government Uses Emergency Brake for First Time

Emergency brake forces Sudbury back into lockdown

The first use of the Ford governments COVID-19 emergency break has been used.

Sudbury is seeing COVID-19 cases spike to 75.9 cases a day per 100,000 people.

As a result the emergency brake was applied putting Sudbury back into lockdown as of midnight this morning. Residents are encouraged to stay at home and all Sudbury schools were closed to contain the spread of COVID-19.

All Sudbury gyms, restaurants and salons are closed with a restriction on gatherings until further notice.
