Drayton residents had the chance this past weekend to dump off their Christmas Trees while also supporting the local food bank with the Kinsmen.
Drayton members made their rounds on Saturday doing curbside collection for trees while also accepting any donation for the food bank.
Kalin MacKay says he isn’t surprised from the support as the community always comes in clutch.
“As always Drayton helps out a lot, they never shy away from giving out tons of food. We had less trees picked up this year but we still had way more food so it’s always good.” said MacKay.
The Kinsmen also sold Christmas trees for the season with 135 trees sold.
Drayton is gearing up in the spring for the farm show which will return in person.
