Another busy day for the North Perth Fire Department who responded to the scene on Monday for an unauthorized burn.
The burn had three fire department vehicles and 10 personnel being tied up for the call.
The fire went against the municipalities open air burn bylaw which has resulted in a hefty fine against the accused who’s been hit with the bill at a cost of $589 per hour per truck.
The North Perth Fire Department says if you plan to burn on your agricultural property its your responsibility to get a burn permit.
