The fire last night at the Village in just east of Listowel has caused $1 million dollars in damages.
The North Perth Fire Department were called to the scene at 8:30pm last night and found 1 structure completely engulfed in flames and it spreading to 2 adjacent homes.
Thanks to the quick response of the force the fire wasn’t able to spread further on the property.
The 3 properties involved will likely be considered write-offs due to the fire damage and smoke.
1 person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. North Perth was assisted by the Minto Fire Department with tanker support.
5 tankers in total were needed to fight the blaze as the Village does not have fire hydrants.
