St Mary Catholic School in Mount Forest has closed following a blaze Thursday morning.
Wellington North Fire Crews were called to a structure fire on Parkside Drive at around 6:15am yesterday and upon arrival flames were seen from the roof of the school.
Nobody was inside at the time with no injuries being reported.
The fire is not considered suspicious with the cause still undetermined.
The Wellington Catholic District School Board is currently working on a temporary accommodation plan to support the continuity of learning for students.
Officials will provide updates to school families on the situation as its available.
