The Fergus Whalers are set to begin play in the Pollock Division of the PJHL starting this fall.
The team is already on the ground running having announced its first ever GM , coaching staff and Alternate Governor last November.
Craig Dool will be GM of the club, followed by former NHL’er Ryan Black behind the bench.
Black was drafted by the Devils in the 92 Entry Draft and has an extensive hockey background.
Fans will get a chance to meet the team at its first public team event on Thursday, February 23rd at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.
The event runs 7 to 9 pm and gives future fans a chance to come out and get familiar with the program, some of the faces behind the organization and ask any questions they may have.
