With the Coldest Night of the Year just two weeks away, the United Way Perth-Huron says there is still time for residents to register for the family-friendly walk in support of those experiencing hurt, hunger & homelessness.
Lee Anne Andriessen, chair of the North Perth Community Committee says they are seeing more evidence of the need and poverty across every generation.
She adds the Coldest Night event aims to raise awareness & funds for programs that assist local people in a time of need.
