A Fergus area mom and her daughter are making and selling candles all in efforts to raise money for Charity.

The sales go to support for the SickKids Hospital Foundation in Toronto.

Lisa Johnson and her 7 year old daughter Kylee came up with the idea after looking for a hobby during the Covid-19 lockdown.

They have so far had 80 orders raising over 350 dollars for the cause.

They expect to see that total grow to 500 dollars before they make the final donation to Sick Kids at the end of February.

Each 4 ounce candle is 5 dollars and come in 3 scents; vanilla lavender, bergamot and scottish heather.
