Fergus resident Jennifer Green was announced as the winner of the 2021 Women of Inspiration Dream Builder Award by the Universal Womens Network.
The award is given to someone who demonstrated that there is a place for women to wear steel-toed boots to work or has challenged a work or industry typically occupied by males.
Green is the Director of Competitions and Young Women’s Initiatives at Skills Ontario.
She has received the Networks 100 of Canada’s Most Powerful Women Award in the past as well as Conestoga College’s Alumni of Distinction Award.
