The Federal Government brought in sweeping regulations when it comes to non-essential travel still occurring in Canada.

Firstly all travellers returning from overseas will have to take a Covid-19 PCR test at the airport, be required to quarantine in a designated hotel for three days at their own expense while they await results.

The cost is estimated at $2000 per traveller.

Those receiving negative test results will then be able to finish their isolation at home, while a positive test will require a quarantine in designated government facilities.

Also announced was that effect Sunday all major Canadian Airlines will suspend all air service to sunshine destinations until April 30th.

All international flights are now being required as of that day to land in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal airports.
