Taste Real is inviting residents and visitors to go on a local food adventure and explore Guelph and Wellington County’s eight vibrant farmers markets this summer.

Starting this week Farmers’ Market Trail Passports are available at all local markets or can be requested directly from the Taste Re3al office.

The local farmers markets operating in the area are in Aberfoyle, Elora, Guelph, Minto and Wellington North which operate on Saturdays.

The Rockwood Market is on Wednesdays and the Erin Market is on Fridays.

The Mapleton Farmers’ Market operates on the third Wednesday of every month during its first season.

Passport holders can collect stickers each time they visit a different farmers’ market and submit a photo of their completed passport with all the stickers for a chance to win 1 of 7 market prize packs.

There is also a social media contest that will see a chance to win for market goers sharing photos of their market visits with the hashtag #tasterealmarkets.
