Another Perth County business has been adding to United Way Perth-Huron’s Living Wage employer.
Famme & CO. Professional Corporation has been recognized as a living wage employer under the Champion category.
Joelle Lamport-Lewis, Director of the Social Research and Planning Council for United Way says Famme & Co has taken a leadership role on local solutions to poverty in our communities through the living wage movement.
A living wage is based on living expenses of a family of four where both adults work full time with at least 35 hours a week.
Locally, a living wage is set at $17.55 per hour.
