New equipment is set to arrive in March for the mammography unit at the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
The purchase of new equipment has been made possible through the hospital foundation.
Installation of equipment is expected to take a few weeks and result in downtime within the unit but plans are in place to limit the interruption to services.
While mammography testing has been available at the Listowel Memorial Hospital for a while now, the addition of expansions of services allows more to be offered within the region.
