Every student in Perth County will get their share of milk again for the year.
A calf, donated by NewMorning Holsteins was auctioned off Wednesday at Carson Auctions, as Wayne Hamilton, the winner of the calf as part of World Milk Day made the choice to have the proceeds from the calf at auction go towards the school milk program.
The auction saw the calf sold for $5000.
The price tag, donated to the school milk program will have 8100 milk cartons delivered to students across the area.
