Erin is currently under a daylight burning ban.
The town says the burn ban is given with forest fuels drying and increased risk of surface fires starting with the fire danger scale being moved to moderate.
Fires will only be permitted two hours before sunset and must be extinguished two hours after sunrise.
Anyone looking to have an open burn must get a permit.
