Enbridge Gas is supporting the Perth East Fire Department with the purchase of firefighter training materials through Safe Community Project Assist.
The program, done with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in communities where Enbridge Gas operates.
This year, $250,000 from Enbridge is being shared between 50 Ontario fire departments.
In a release, Fire Chief for the Perth East Fire Department, Bill Hunter says the donation will allow the department to purchase educational materials for their firefighters which will augment the high level of customer service.
