Elora will be the next town to add a McDonalds.
Centre Wellington council approved a request to remove the holding zone symbol at 94 Wellington Road 7 to allow for the development for the restaurant.
Manager of Planning Services for Centre Wellington, Mariana Iglesias says this is only phase one of the redevelopment of the site just for the front half of the site.
Iglesias says the rear portion will need to be redeveloped at a later date.
