Perth-Wellington projected to have safe PC hold

It’s election day across Ontario.

Elections Ontario says over 1 million citizens voted in advance over the course of the 10 days advanced polling was opened.

Voters today must vote at the designated polling station which can be found on their voters card.

Early polls show Doug Ford and the PC government hold the lead among other parties.

In Perth Wellington, voters have the option of Ashley Fox for the Liberal Party, Matthew Rae for the Conservatives, Jo-Dee Burbach from the NDP, Laura Bisutti for the Greens, Bob Hosken of the New Blue Party, Sandy McGregor for the Ontario Party and Robby Smink of the Freedom Party.

Ipolitics shows the PC government is projected to have a safe hold in Perth-Wellington with 46.8% of the projected vote.

Huron-Bruce as well as Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound are also projected with a PC hold.
