On Wednesday, May 19th at approximately 2:45pm the Wellington County OPP along with the Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics responded to a 2 vehicle collision on Trafalgar Road at Wellington Road 124 in the Town of ERin.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle collided with a tractor trailer in the intersection. The driver of the passenger vehicle was extricated from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The second driver was not injured.
On May 29th, the driver of the passenger vehicle, an 84 year old male of Mississauga was pronounced deceased in hospital by attending physicians.
