Driver arrested at RIDE Checkpoint

Driver found to have drug paraphernalia in car

A Huron East resident will have to attend court later this year to answer to a drug possession charge following an investigation by members of the Huron County OPP.

On December 31st at approximately 10:10pm a vehicle entered a RIDE checkpoint located on Blyth Road.

Immediately on speaking with the driver officers noted drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

A search was conducted and the driver was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

A 38 year old male of Seaforth has been charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Goderich Court on February 22nd, 2021.
