Drayton Minor Hockey shared word of its U11 black team becoming International Silver Stick Champions this morning.
The team faces Pelham, Wasaga Beach, Mount Brydges, Aylmer and Lucan enroute to the Finals in Niagara Region.
The team was undefeated heading into their Championship matchup versus the Apsley Flames.
Minor Hockey says it was a nailbiter of a game that ended with a 1-0 victory and the title.
