The Drayton Rotary Club, as part of its 75th anniversary over the weekend officially opened up their newest rotary park to the area.
Support for the park included various donations from local groups such as $50,000 from Earthscape and $25,000 from Edge Mutual.
Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson says its great to have the new rotary park, but the work is far from finished.
“There’s a lot to be done still with the outlook and the canoe lodge as well as a fishing area, we have a lot to do in this park but right now its fantastic.” said Davidson.
The new park can be found in Drayton on Queen Street.
