Dr. Nicola Mercer, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph’s Medical Officer of Health says she is working closely with Dr. Hsiu-Li Wang, Medical Officer of Health for Waterloo on a certificate based proof of vaccination effort.
Mercer says both have been actively discussing the manner until a province wide proof of vaccination program is implemented which an announcement could come as early as this week according to a senior government official to Premier Doug Ford.
Mercer says the proof of vaccination would be similar to what can already be done in COVax receipts which is downloadable from the province’s website.
