Dr. Nicola Mercer, Medical Officer of Health for Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph is instructing businesses in the region to allow their employees and other workers to start working from home again starting December 20th.
In a letter sent on Thursday, Dr. Mercer instructs businesses to ensure their employees can do their work remotely unless the nature of their work requires them to be in person for the job.
The instruction was given under the Reopening Ontario Act and the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
