Dr. Lauren Hayward has been named as the Associate Medical Officer of Health for Huron-Perth Public Health.
Dr. Hayward has served as a physician consultant for public health since 2021 including as the Director of the Population Health Department.
Hayward brings 12 years of family medicine experience in Huron and Perth, most notably as a family physician in North Perth on top of varied clinical experience in other communities across Canada.
Dr. Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health says this appointment reflects Dr. Haywards’ expertise and commitment to advancing public health in the region.
