Many gathered in downtown Palmerston yesterday to see the unveiling of a mural of the historic Norgan Theatre. This is all part of the beatification of the downtown section.
The mural was painted by Stephanie Hood, one girl and one brush to create a masterpiece that helps capture the history of the theatre. Minto Mayor, George Bridge says that this mural and addition to beauty is far from the last.
“We’ve got a few if you walk around, you’ll see a lot of street art, a lot of murals and it will continue that way with our Red Funding grant and with the All Aboard Palmerston group” said Mayor Bridge.
This work of beatification is all made possible from the Red Funding grant as well as the long list of volunteers part of the All Aboard Palmerston group.
