Don McDougall of Stratford has been among the newest names to the Order of Canada.
McDougall is a business leader who helped play a role to bring the Toronto Blue Jays into the MLB.
Governor General Mary Simon says McDougall has been appointed to the Order of Canada due to his visionary leadership of the founding director of the Blue Jays club and for his entrepreneurship and philanthropy.
The honour for McDougall comes shortly after being named the Business Leader of the Year by the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce.
