A Mount Forest resident has been charged following a disturbance.
On July 10th at around 10:30pm, Wellington County OPP responded to reports of a disturbance on Queen Street West in Wellington North.
It was reported a person had threatened an individual with a weapon.
Officers were able to identify and locate the person involved and as a result a 21 year old has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Device.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
