Diana Sweets in Listowel is still taking in the damage from Friday mornings accident.
Though the support from the community has been overwhelming says Tami Cressey.
From residents supporting first responders with coffee and food to the owners as many offer to help out in anyway they can.
The restaurant remains in good shape with their heads held high as well.
“We still don’t know the extensiveness of the damage. Obviously the front of the building is pretty much gone. Inside, other than needing good cleaning because of glass and debris in there, inside there’s no damage” said Cressey.
In terms of reopening, the news is also positive as there could be a chance to open again at the end of the month.
“The restaurant itself is fine, it’s just having safe access for people coming in and out and we’re not going to risk anyone’s safety.”
