The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance has announced a COVID-19 outbreak declared the St Marys Memorial Hospital has been ruled over by Huron Perth Public Health.
The outbreak, declared on November 16th was on the Inpatient Unit.
Admissions and transfer have been restored to the unit with family and caregiver presence also brought back.
Erica Jensen, Manager of Quality, Patient Safety & Infection Control says immediate precautions were taken including prevalence testing for patients.
The healthcare alliance is reminding visitors, masking is required in all clinical areas of HPHA hospitals.
