Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance declared the Covid-19 outbreak at Seaforth Community Hospital over on Sunday. The outbreak had been in place at the Inpatient Unit since January 28th.
It has been reopened to admissions and transfers.
Family & caregiver presence in the unit has also been restored.
Erica Jensen, Manager of Quality, Patient Safety & Infection Control says that while the outbreak is over, they can’t stress enough the importance of laying up protection to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other respiratory illnesses circulating in Huron Perth.
