A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the Palmerston & District Hospital.
The outbreak has been declared after two inpatients and five staff members tested positive.
During this time there will be no inpatient visiting permitted at the hospital with exceptions given under special circumstances.
The emergency department, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory care, day surgery still remain open.
The hospital is working closely with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph public health to respond to the outbreak.
