Huron Perth Public Health announced this afternoon that a Covid-19 outbreak has been declared on the second floor medicine unit of the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
A total of 4 patients and no staff have been announced as part of the outbreak.
The hospital says it is working closely with public health and its regional partners regarding admissions, transfers and repatriations in response to the outbreak.
ER visits, ambulatory care services, operating room procedures, obstetrics, diagnostic imaging and specialists visits continue to occur.
No inpatient visits are being permitted on the second floor at this time.
