North Perth council meets tonight, among the discussion will include the recent request from Listowel Minor Hockey Association regarding costs for minor hockey, requesting a discounted rate above the current youth rate.
Council first approved and directed staff to prepare a report on the matter.
Council returned to the discussion on September 28th when a similar presentation was done by Listowel Minor Hockey to the Recreation Advisory Committee.
The recommendation set tonight reads to have council follow the recommendation of the Recreation Advisory Committee and not support the request for reduction of ice rates to minor sports groups.
Council meets tonight at 7pm.
