While not able to attend due to a cold, Mitchell’s Claire Bear Nicholson was still in spirit as part of the Cops for Cancer fundraiser held in Sebringville this past Friday.
Perth County OPP alongside the Sebringville detachment had their heads shaved with the help of Scott Jackson from Stonetown Barber.
The goal to raise $5000 for the Canadian Cancer Society has seen the goal smashed of Friday night with over $5200.
The funds will go to support into pediatric cancer research as well as supporting families and children going through treatment.
