A construction contract on an affordable housing project in Stratford has been awarded.
Phase 2 of the Britannia Street affordable housing project has been awarded to Nith Valley Construction.
The firm based out of New Hamburg submitted the lowest bid with six other’s submitting bids in August with a total of nearly 24 contractors being considered.
The total cost so far in Phase 2 of the project is slotted at $9,727,500.
The Britannia Street affordable housing project was first approved by council in 2017.
