The community has shined in support for the Elora Centre for the Arts.
During a recent Community Kick Off BBQ & Concert, nearly 450 were in attendance to launch their new campaign and start the expansion at the centre.
From the kickoff alone, close to $20,000 was raised with ground breaking next month on a 3500 square foot addition.
To date more than 75 per cent of the $4.5 million goal has been reached to complete the project.
The new expansion will have a multi use space for community gatherings and performances, be fully accessible and strengthen Centre Wellington as a vibrant arts community.
