The City of Stratford says they are aware of homeless encampments across the city including ones on municipal property.
The Social Services department is working with individuals to continue their housing process to curb homelessness and find suitable housing for those in need.
Social Services adds their priority remains in the safety and well being for not only those in the encampments but for the community at large.
Stratford Police ask residents to be caring and compassionate to those living in encampments with anyone with safety concerns being asked to contact police.
