A children’s camp outside of Drayton has been fined $11,000 for a water testing failure.
Conestoga Bible Camp, a not for profit was convicted on four violations under the Safe Drinking Water Act when the ministry back in February 2024 reviewed sampling records for periods between February 1st 2023 and January 31st 2024.
The findings showed required monthly raw water microbiological sampling and distributions microbiological sampling was not completed in July 2023 and August 2023.
The camp which operates as a day camp in July and August was fined $11,000 and a victim fine surcharge of $2750.
