One child is dead after a crash on Monday involving a horse drawn buggy.
Perth County OPP responded to the scene alongside Perth County Paramedics and the Perth East Fire Department on Line 71 west of Perth Road 140 in North Perth just after 4pm.
A passenger vehicle and buggy had collided with two occupants in the buggy taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Another occupant in the horse drawn buggy, a 13 year old was pronounced deceased in the hospital.
An 8 year old child was taken to a trauma centre with the driver of the passenger vehicle taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The horse also died as a result of the crash. Investigation remains ongoing.
