A report for Centre Wellington council on Monday will include an update over retail cannabis in town.
This has been a long discussion for council which gained more ground last November.
This will likely come to a conclusion next week as council has to vote to opt out of permitting the retail sale of cannabis or opt in.
A report going to council writes the committee does not support opting in to permit retail cannabis at this time.
