It’s a busy shift of election running across Centre Wellington.

Councilor Neil Dunsmore has announced his run at mayor for the municipality.

Dunsmore who was named Deputy Mayor says the biggest issue seen in the area is housing and it needs to be addressed.

Earlier last week, Mayor Kelly Linton had announced he would not be seeking re-election.

Dunsmore is set to face against former township and county councilor Shawn Watters in the municipal election on October 24th.

Provincially, councilor Stephen Kitras announced his intention to run for MPP for Wellington-Halton Hills with the New Blue Party of Ontario
