With the winter weather upon us the Centre Wellington Fire & Rescue shared a reminder to residents to stay warm and fire safe this winter.
They say to have your heating system, vents and chimney inspected and cleaned annually by a qualified service technician.
They also add to ensure all outdoor heating vents are not blocked.
The Ontario Fire Marshall recently announced that in 2022 there were 133 fire-related fatalities in the Province.
This is the worst figure seen in over 2 decades.
