The Career Education Council is holding a variety of events for youth centered around exploring the future possibility of careers across Wellington County as well as job fairs for high school students and the public.
The council was first established in 1990 for youth to learn more about the workplace and make informed choices on their future education and careers.
The council works alongside local businesses to provide workshops and events to explore more.
Grade 9-12 students are invited on April 18th from 9:30am-2:30pm at the Mount Forest Sports Complex to learn more about future employment within Wellington County.
On April 26th at the Palmerston Arena a job fair will be held for high school students at 1:30pm and the general public opening at 4:30pm.
